Matter in Motion

Time does not flow — it settles. It stratifies, compresses, leaves traces in matter. This series stems from the need to arrest the passing of things: to translate time in becoming into historical time — visible, tangible. Matter is the instrument — a mixture with body and depth, shaped by hand to evoke organic surfaces, subsoils, forgotten strata. The palette follows the beauty of the earth: chromatic, never arbitrary. The circle is the form that contains all of this. Cyclical movement, continuity, infinity. Whole or fragmented, it rests on the surface as a living trace — a sign of a deep bond with the generative forces of the universe. Not a representation of time. A sedimentation of it.

The work in Architecture

A series of material artworks developed around the circular form, designed for contemporary interiors where a softer, organic presence is needed to balance architectural geometries. The surfaces are built through a dense, almost three-dimensional material, applied in irregular layers to generate shadows, depth and subtle variations. The texture evokes organic subterranean landscapes, enhancing the interaction with both natural and grazing light. The circular form introduces continuity and visual flow within the space, making the works particularly suitable for focal walls, above consoles or in areas where a strong yet harmonious element is required. The chromatic palette is inspired by natural tones — earth, minerals and sediments — allowing the work to integrate seamlessly with refined material schemes. The circle acts as a structural and symbolic element: a continuous form that brings cohesion, rhythm and a sense of balance within the architectural space. The series allows for the development of single pieces or compositions, adaptable in scale, proportion and palette according to the project.
