Expansive Texture

The works in this series emerge from a close observation of the natural world — its repetitive, branching structures, invisible to those who do not stop to look. The surfaces evoke fine networks, vegetal interlacings, primordial forms. Like the Anthozoa coral seen from above — a single organism, thousands of individuals — the matter carries within itself the tension between unity and multiplicity, between the body and what exceeds it. The mark expands, branches, densifies, dissolves. Shaped by hand with material mixtures and pigments, it generates compositions of strong visual and tactile impact — surfaces in constant movement, architectures of nature translated into matter.

The Work in Architecture

Expansive Traces develops through branching material marks that generate dynamic, ever-changing surfaces. The handcrafted texture creates reliefs that respond to light, enhancing the dialogue between solids and voids and activating wall perception. The series is designed to: – introduce movement into large, neutral surfaces – enhance raking light – create continuity with natural materials and architectural textures. Suitable for contemporary residential and hospitality environments, where the artwork becomes an integrated part of the project.
